Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with Minimum 50% Marks, and 50% Marks in English OR
• 3 Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with Minimum 50% Marks and 50% Marks in English in the Diploma Course OR
• 2 Year Vocation Course with Non-Vocational Subject Physics and Math from Any Recognized Board with 50% Marks Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.

Indian Airforce Benefits of Agniveer (Agnipath) : Intake 01/2024

Joining the Agniveer (Agnipath) scheme of the Indian Airforce comes with numerous benefits:

• Indian young people aged between 17.5 to 21 years can apply for the Agniveer scheme.
• Agniveer allows youth to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years.
• Agniveers will be provided with life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs for the duration of their engagement period.
• Upon completion of the service, Agniveers will receive a skill-set certificate from the Indian Airforce.
• Annual leave of 30 days and sick leave with medical advice based.
• Gradual increase in monthly package over four years.

Monthly Package

• Exit After 4 Years as Agniveer in Indian Airforce: Rs. 11.71 Lakh as Seva Nidhi Package + Skill Gained Certificate.
• Up to 25% will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Indian Airforce, with a total amount of Rs. 5.02 Lakh.
